Meet Jessie

Hi, my name is Jessie and what can I say? I'm just a girl who loves cakes. Baking them, decorating them, eating them and sharing them!

When I was a little girl I never dreamed of making cakes. Being born & brought up in China, we never had and still don't have ovens at home. Since I came to Scotland in 2003 I discovered the magic of baking and started making all kinds of cakes for friends in 2010.

I loved experimenting with flavours at first, then in 2013, I got the bug of cake decorating and just haven't stopped. So now, after marrying the love of my life and settling down in Kirkliston, Edinburgh, I decided to pursue a new dream and create my own cake brand - Jessie's Magic Oven.
